Ingredients
  • 454g (2 cups) lean ground beef
  • 1 pkg taco seasoning mix
  • 900g (2 lb) fusilli noodles
  • 1 small green pepper
  • 1 small red pepper
  • 1 small yellow pepper
  • 6 green onions
  • 3 stocks celery
  • 4 firm Roma tomatoes
  • 250 g (1 cup) cheddar cheese
  • Salsa Sauce to your taste
  • 250 g (1 cup) Island Farms by Natrel cream cheese
  • 250 mL (1 cup) Island Farms by Natrel sour cream
  • 5 mL (1 tsp) Lawry's seasoning salt
Preparation
  1. Cook noodles as directed on the package (cool and refrigerate).
  2. As noodles are cooking, brown beef, drain the fat and add taco seasoning mix (cool and refrigerate).
  3. Mix cream cheese and sour cream together and set aside.
  4. Dice all vegetables and grate cheddar cheese.
  5. Into cold noodles mix beef and all vegetables (except tomatoes).
  6. Mix in cream cheese and sour cream blend and add Salsa Sauce.
  7. Fold in cheddar cheese, tomatoes and seasoning salt.
  8. Refrigerate several hours before serving.
