Oven Baked French Toast

1 loaf French bread
8 large eggs
2 cups Island Farms Half & Half
1 cup Island Farms 2% Milk
2 tbsp granulated sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
¼ tsp ground cinnamon
¼ tsp nutmeg
Dash of salt

Slice French bread into 1 – inch slices and arrange in a buttered 9 by 13 – inch baking dish in 2 rows, overlapping slices.

In a large mixing bowl, combine eggs, Island Farms Half & Half, sugar, Island Farms 2% Milk, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt. Beat with mixer until blended but not too bubbly. Pour mixture over the bread slices, covering evenly. Cover and refrigerate overnight.

The next day, bake at 350°F for 40 minutes or until lightly golden. Serve with maple syrup. Serves 8.
