Family Favourite Lasagna

Ingredients:

1 lb. lean ground beef
2 1/2 cups grated mozzarella cheese
2 cups of Island Farms Cottage Cheese
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
1/4 cup chopped parsley
1 egg
3 cups (about 1 jar) spaghetti sauce
1 1/2 cups water
12 uncooked lasagna noodles

Preparation:

Pre-heat oven to 350°F.

Mix together 1 1/4 cups mozzarella, cottage cheese, 1/4 cup parmesan, parsley and egg.

Brown meat in a large skillet; drain, return to pan and stir in spaghetti sauce and water. Mix well.

Using a 9x13-inch pan, put 1 cup of the meat sauce on the bottom, then 3 lasagna noodles, 1/3 of the cottage cheese mixture, 1 cup meat sauce. Repeat layers twice more. Top with last 3 noodles, last of the meat sauce and remaining mozzarella and parmesan. Cover and bake for 1 hour. Remove lid and bake additonal 15 min. Let stand 10-15 minutes before serving.
